Get glowing skin with homemade scrubs
Scrubbing is a form of exfoliation
that removes dead skin cells and makes skin clear.
It also keeps the pores clean.
Scrubbing is really important if you have oily skin.
You can buy scrubs from the market
which are ready made or you can even make one with kitchen items, that will be
all natural, cheaper and more effective.
While you exfoliate or scrub you can
notice that your skin looks radiant and glows afterwards as blood circulation
is also enhanced with massaging the face.
Oats
and Sugar
You can take two teaspoonful of oatmeal
and put it in water or milk whatever you prefer, once it gets pulpy and gooey soft,
then take a teaspoonful of sugar and mix it in the paste of oatmeal and water.
Let it sit for 2 minutes and then
apply on your clean face. Massage it on your face as if you are
exfoliating/scrubbing. You should keep doing this scrubbing for around 2-3
minutes and be gentle. Wash your face with plain water and you will instantly
see that your skin feels clean and clear. There is no dead skin or roughness.
Oatmeal helps skin glow and sugar
exfoliates your skin.
Baking
Soda
Baking soda scrub can be the
gentlest one but it still exfoliates your face properly. For this, you will
have to take a teaspoonful of baking soda which can be easily found in your
kitchen and is not at all expensive. Mix that teaspoonful of baking soda with
half a teaspoonful of water and make a paste. Put more water if required.
You should not make the paste too
runny or too thick. Keep its consistency medium.
Now, you may use this mixture to
exfoliate your face like you to normally with any scrub.
You would feel that the granules of
baking soda are very fine but there is scrubbing. Your skin will look smooth
and it’s mild so, even if you have sensitive skin, it can be used without
apprehensions. It is a great way for glowing skin that is free of dead skin
cells.
Salt
and honey
If your skin is combination, then
this can be the best scrub for you. You will need table salt and some honey.
Mix a teaspoon of table salt with a teaspoon of honey and put some lime juice
into this mixture as lime juice helps clearing pores and also lightens the
marks and blemishes, if you have any.
Use this mixture normally on your
face for 3-4 minutes and massaging with light pressure on the face. Light
pressure massaging boosts the blood circulation and skin feels rejuvenated.
Your face will be smooth, skin is glowing
and radiant. Pores will be clear as well. You can then wash your face with
clean plain water. Regularly using this can help you lighten the skin tone
also.
Maintaining a healthy glowing skin is
not that difficult if you give it sufficient time and efforts.
