of Pond’s BB cream All in one fairness
I
got this Pond’s BB cream few weeks ago and I will share a review on it. Before
starting off with the review I would like to mention what BB creams are? if in case, you are not aware as they are
something comparatively new in India.
These
BB creams are really popular in Korea also known as Blemish Balm and they are
considered as an all in one product that can give you sun protection, conceals, brightens, smoothens and primes
your. It eliminates the use of primers, concealer, foundation, moisturizer and
also sunscreens which is why they are called as multi functioning product.
This
is launched recently and has created quite a buzz. Before that you may have
seen garnier and Maybelline bb cream.
This
Pond’s BB cream is for 125 Rs for
18g and you can get a small pack also for 69 Rs.
Good features of ponds bb cream:
It
is very fairly priced and comes in a
travel friendly tube pack. You can
carry it in your purse easily. It is very slim and sleek looking.
It
smells very nice and nothing strong, very mild and nice smell. I like its texture;
it looks like a foundation with non greasy texture and blends in to the skin
just like any other cream. It gives only a sheer
coverage so you should not expect that it will conceal your pimple and acne
marks as it can give you only light coverage but definitely even tones your
complexion. It can suit fair to wheatish
complexions.
As
it is not greasy at all, it will be
suitable for oily skinned girls. After a couple of hours if there is some oiliness
then that can be absorbed with wither oil absorbing sheets or some compact pressed
powder.
It has not break me out yet so it is safe to use unless you are allergic with any of the ingredients present in this Pond’s white beauty BB cream. It is not sweat resistant but other than that stays for good amount of time.
It
has SPF 25 so it’s good but you may applying your sunscreen before or after
this if you want higher sun protection.
Features that may
bother:
It
is available in only one color that can be a problem. It may look mismatched on
very dusky complexion. It gives only sheer coverage so if you want to cover your blemishes, spots, and pimple
marks use concealer or high coverage
foundation over it.
It
isn’t greasy dry skin you may have to put some moisturizer before applying this
BB cream.

says about this fairness claim which
I have not yet noticed so can’t say but I don’t think so as well that it can.

Looking at all the points from packaging, price and its features, it is an 8 out of 10 product.
Who it is for?
This Pond’s All in one fairness BB cream
will be liked by those who have oily or combination skin types and are in the fair
to medium complexion range and are comfortable with sheer coverage that it
gives.
Its
affordable price can make it popular
amongst college goers and as their skin are young and don’t need much coverage.
If you wish you can still use it under your foundation as a base.
